The Story Of Vancouver Island Trading Cards

Vancouver Island is a place that everyone comes to visit, but in reality there really isn't a lot of people here. But, that’s changing. As time goes on, people are starting to see something here they don’t see anywhere else in Canada. We are surrounded by beauty. We are blessed with breathtaking mountains, ocean, wildlife, and wonderful weather year round. Don’t like the rain? Don’t worry it will be sunny again soon. Don’t like the snow, don’t worry it will rain again soon.

We have so much to explore, and so many communities to take part in. It’s when we don’t explore and take part in community, we miss out. We stop seeing the beauty within the island. That’s a big part of why I decided to create Vancouver Island Trading Cards. I want these cards to be a true representation of what Vancouver Island is, and for every visitor, to be able to take a part of that home with them. And for every local to open up a pack of cards, and feel heard. To see that someone is making something for them!

It’s astonishing to see how many people share that same vision. This was just started a few months ago, and as only one person doing this, I am forever grateful for all the support and kind words I hear every single day. It makes me so happy and excited for the future. And now that a foundation has been built, I am even more excited to be able to share this platform with as many local artists as possible, and share Vancouver Island with The World.

This is the first step in this journey, in a new universe that is just beginning to unfold. Characters that are soon to come to life, and soon to expand across the pond.. and around The World.

Vancouver Island is just the beginning.
